How long have you been in the real estate industry for? I have been in the real estate industry for nearly 16 years.
What has been your biggest accomplishment in your career? I would say my biggest accomplishment in my career has been getting to a place where my business is nearly 100% referral based. I think I’ve also accomplished balance in my life. With two small kids and busy social schedules, I am proud of the business I’ve built. I am consistently recognized as a top producer, all while being a present mother, wife, and friend. I hope to be so fortunate in the years ahead!
What makes LIV Sotheby’s International Realty unique? LIV Sotheby’s International Realty offers a network and marketing platform like none other. The brand recognition and reputation that comes with the Sotheby’s name has allowed me the opportunity to grow my network far beyond Denver. I have met wonderful brokers in other cities and countries and cannot imagine aligning my business with anyone else. The buying experience will always be an incredibly personal and hands-on transaction and in our competitive Denver market it would be impossible to do my job without the amazing team at LIV. It is because of the support LIV offers me, that I am able to provide relevant marketing, statistics and customer service to each of my clients.
Personally, what drives you in this industry? My husband and I are both in real estate, albeit in very different facets. We live and breathe real estate in our house. My daily driver is absolutely my clients. Each individual has their own needs and every client experience is a little bit different. Words can’t explain the satisfaction and gratitude that comes along with seeing people fall in love with their first home or their tenth. Or the tears people cry when their house sells for significantly more than they’d ever hoped. Owning real estate is part of the American Dream and I know without a doubt I’m incredibly fortunate to play a small part in those moments.
What community do you live in? What do you like about it? After we moved from San Francisco we narrowed our search to the Bonnie Brae / Cory-Merrill neighborhood. We happened to fall in love with a little bungalow in Bonnie Brae and have been here ever since! We had no idea that we would land in such a fun and laid back neighborhood! We can ride our bikes to Washington Park, Old South Gaylord, and South Pearl Street. We take in sporting events at The University of Denver and are central to so many other great pockets of Denver. Our street is what dreams are made of. Kids running back and forth to each other’s houses, summer block parties and drinking wine on the patio with friends and neighbors! Our kids attend Cory Elementary and we feel so lucky to be involved in such a wonderful community.
