At LIV Sotheby’s International Realty, our people make the difference! Learn more about one of our remarkable brokers, Susie Langford, in her personal Q&A.

How long have you been in the real estate industry for? 24 Years

What initially drew you to the real estate industry? The ability to help people with the most important event in their lives – transitioning to a new home, community, and life.

What has been your biggest accomplishment in your career? Working with some amazing clients and having them show their appreciation for my efforts and the successful transition for them by making me a part of their family and lives long after the closings.

What makes LIV Sotheby’s International Realty unique? Our marketing team and brokers are superior to any other real estate brokerage. I have worked for other major brands and they just don’t compare to what LIV SIR offers.

What is a trend that you are keeping your eye on right now in the industry? The confusion that many consumers have about discount brokerages and iBuyer programs. Consumers do not understand that they consistently lose money for their sellers and buyers.

Personally, what drives you in this industry? Every day is different, I literally learn something or see something new every day. Whether it is very unusual interiors or transactions that take an unexpected turn, you just never know what the day will bring.

What are you passionate about? I am passionate about providing the absolute best outcome for my clients and making sure that the process goes as smoothly as possible.

What are your hobbies/interests outside of the office? I love tennis, painting, hiking, snowshoeing and most things outdoors as well as attending stage productions and concerts. Red Rocks is my favorite place for so many things.

What’s your favorite part about living and working in Colorado? Hands down, Colorado has the best climate and lifestyle of any place I have lived… and I have lived in a lot of places. It’s the most exciting and includes different terrain, weather, and all kinds of activities available.

What community do you live in? What do you like about it? I live in Cherry Creek and I love the proximity to everything that I need and want to do on a weekly basis. I am minutes from the office, tennis, shopping, movies, parks, running trails, and an easy Uber to downtown for even more fun and entertainment. Plus, it is central for helping clients all over the Metro area.
