How long have you been in the real estate industry for? I have been a licensed real estate broker in Georgia and Colorado for almost 13 years!
What initially drew you to the real estate industry? I have always found real estate fascinating. Homes and properties are multi-functional and serve the owners in many different ways. From investments to a place to raise your family, I wanted to be the one to work with people and help make their real estate dreams and goals come true.
What makes LIV Sotheby’s International Realty unique? To have the privilege to work for such a powerful brand is amazing. To be surrounded by top tier brokers worldwide and have the support of a leading firm. Connecting people to their chosen lifestyle for living is what we do.
What is a trend that you are keeping your eye on right now in the industry? Rental properties and investment portfolios. Several of my clients are working on building their investment portfolios. Investing in real estate is a great way to build wealth – Denver is proving a good return on the money for those that are investing.
Personally, what drives you in this industry? My clients – the people that I have the opportunity to represent and help make their real estate goals come true is what drives me in this industry. Advocating on behalf of my clients to negotiate what they deserve is my favorite!
What are your hobbies/interests outside of the office? Colorado offers over 300 days of sunshine and outside of the office, I like to explore all that Colorado has to offer. During the winter I like to head to my condo in Keystone, hit the slopes and snowshoe. In the summer months, I like to hike the trails, bike, and paddleboard. I also enjoy spending time with my family and 3-year-old son.
What’s your favorite part about living and working in Colorado? My favorite part about Colorado is the PEOPLE! The people here in Colorado are amazing and have mastered the balance between their successful professional lives and the need for adventure. There is something here for everyone, from beer to mountains to art and a great foodie scene.
What community do you live in? What do you like about it? Denver and the surrounding areas are an amazing place to live because it offers many neighborhoods and suburbs to choose from. Each with their own vibe and personality. You can’t go wrong with any of them – I live in Lone Tree, a small city suburb outside of Denver. I like Lone Tree for its location and you know what they say, “LOCATION, LOCATION, LOCATION!” It is located near two of the major highways so I can zip around Denver and the surrounding areas fairly easily. It’s also just a little over an hour to get to the Rocky Mountains. Lone Tree is currently experiencing lots of growth which is fun and exciting to see. Everything I need is very convenient from the multiple trails to Park Meadows Mall.
