At LIV Sotheby’s International Realty, our people make the difference! Learn more about one of our remarkable brokers, Tim Thein, in his personal Q&A.

What has been your biggest accomplishment in your career? Prior to joining LIV Sotheby’s International Realty, I was a principal shareholder and chief operating officer of an educational data analytics and marketing firm that I helped grow to become one of the nation’s largest and most profitable firms. Not only did I develop cutting-edge marketing strategies for my clients but I applied those same marketing analytics in my own company — securing a continual stream of new business partners and investors. When I sold the company some years ago, I felt incredibly proud of having built such a successful brand based on constant attention to the most sophisticated marketing techniques.

What makes LIV Sotheby’s International Realty unique? Quite simply, there are no other brands in real estate that signal such integrity, excellence, and client satisfaction as Sotheby’s International Realty. I find my own values perfectly align with what the Sotheby’s International Realty brand represents.

Personally, what drives you in this industry? I strive to bring the same hard-hitting, data-driven marketing strategies that fueled the growth and prominence of my own marketing firm to the Sotheby’s brand.

What’s your favorite part about living and working in Colorado? Over my lifetime love affair with the Rocky Mountain region, I have bought and sold some of the finest residential, commercial, rental investment, and ranching properties available. Whether my clients hope to buy or sell, I know a properly guided real estate transaction should be financially rewarding, personally satisfying, and even a little bit fun. I hope to use my passion for Colorado and professional expertise to make such an important undertaking exceed all my clients’ expectations.

What community do you live in? What do you like about it? My family and I live in Cherry Hills Village. We feel so lucky to walk our kids (and two new Golden Retriever puppies, Lucy & Ethel) to school along the bridle paths that wind through the stately homes and bucolic settings so distinctive to Cherry Hills. We absolutely love the community of friends and families that make Cherry Hills a truly magical place to call home.
