Telluride Association of Realtors Recognizes Three Top Brokers from LIV Sotheby’s International Realty

LIV Sotheby’s International Realty brokers are awarded plaques that signify their recognition as outstanding real estate professionals by the Telluride Association of Realtors. Pictured from left to right: Teddy Errico, Hilary Taylor, and Matthew Hintermeister.

LIV Sotheby’s International Realty is very proud to announce that three of its Telluride-based brokers were recognized with various awards from the Telluride Association of Realtors (TAR) last Friday, September 6th.

Each year, the TAR recognizes real estate professionals that stand out due to of their dedicated commitment to their clients and the community. This year LIV Sotheby’s International Realty was well represented among those recognized. Three individuals from the firm were noted as remarkable real estate brokers, each taking home a different title.

“We are very proud of Matthew, Hilary and Teddy. These awards and recognition really demonstrate their professional commitment to the real estate industry, Telluride Association of Realtors and the community of Telluride,” said Nels Cary, managing broker of LIV Sotheby’s International Realty’s Telluride offices.

LIV Sotheby’s International Realty broker, Matthew Hintermeister, was awarded “2019 Realtor of the Year” for his service to TAR, the Telluride community, and outstanding business accomplishments. This is the second time that Hintermeister, the current Colorado Association of Realtors (CAR) director and business services chairman, and former president of TAR, has won this award. Hintermeister was also appointed to the National Association of Realtors Public Policy Coordinating Committee. Beyond real estate, he is president of the Telluride Aids Benefit and formerly served on the Telluride Historic and Architecture Review Commission (HARC). Additionally, he is part owner and founder of Telluride Eco Cleaners and The Telluride Laundromat.

The “Rookie of the Year” award was given to LIV Sotheby’s International Realty broker, Hilary Taylor. Taylor received this award for her visibility and presence within the community as well as her hard work and ability to succeed. Outside of real estate, Taylor has been a One to One mentor for seven years and has sat on the board for the youth services organization for six years. She volunteers for the Telluride Film Festival, Art & Architecture, and senior lunch events. Additionally, she donates her time to the TAR highway clean-up and riverwalk clean-up initiatives. Taylor also contributes to the Hoot Brown Scholarship Fund, First-Time Homebuyers Fund and TARPAC.

Teddy Errico, another broker from LIV Sotheby’s International Realty, was named “Community Realtor of the Year.” Errico earned this title for his superior service to the community. As a four-time “First-Time Homebuyers Realtor of the Year,” Errico has amassed a loyal client base in Telluride. A philanthropist at heart, he also believes in giving back to the community and is a volunteer member of the Telluride Parks and Recreation Commission. In 2009 and 2010, he was elected by his peers as president of the Telluride Association of Realtors. Additionally, Errico served as a long-time board member, head coach, and president of the Telluride LizardHead Hockey Club. He donates his time and financial resources to a variety of local nonprofits, including a high school scholarship, First-Time Homebuyer’s Fund, and a local radio station. Furthermore, he is the producer of a free concert series, Sunset Concert Series, which spans nine weeks and features world-class talent.

In addition to the brokers who took home titles, four other brokers from LIV Sotheby’s International Realty currently sit on the board of directors for TAR. Those board members include Tracy Boyce, Director of Education, Maggie Martin, Director of Tours, Jake McTigue, MLS Director, and Iva Kostova Hild, Director of Public Relations.
