At LIV Sotheby’s International Realty, our people make the difference! Learn more about one of our remarkable brokers, Ronda Chapleski, in her personal Q&A.

How long have you been in the real estate industry for? 25 years.

What initially drew you to the real estate industry? I worked my way through college in a property management position and fell in love with helping people find the place they call home. After staying home with my sons for 10 years, a residential real estate brokerage was the natural progression for me as I looked toward my future career path. I could be in charge of my time, be rewarded for how hard I worked, and most importantly, have a flexible schedule so that I could attend my son’s school activities and sporting events as they were growing up.

What has been your biggest accomplishment in your career? I’ve been fortunate to receive production awards during my very first year in the industry but my biggest accomplishment in my career has been seeing the pure joy on people’s faces when they find and close on the home of their dreams.

What makes LIV Sotheby’s International Realty unique? LIV Sotheby’s International Realty has set the bar out of this world in the real estate industry. The passion, uniqueness, and commitment to amazing excellence is why I’m so proud and honored to represent the best real estate brand in the industry.

What is a trend that you are keeping your eye on right now in the industry? I do see people gravitating towards smaller homes. Luxury isn’t just about the price or how big the home is, it’s also about a sense of place that each individual person calls home for themselves. I see a trend towards usable space in a home and not just “mega-mansions”.

Personally, what drives you in this industry? Waking up every day and excited to be surrounded by the best in the industry. The challenge of understanding that each client has different needs, their own unique way of communicating, and simply a love for having the honor of helping my clients with their most important investment.

What are you passionate about? I’m passionate about seeing women succeed in their life and being in charge of their future. I’m passionate about being so blessed to live in such a beautiful place that still, after 33 years, challenges me to be my best every day and reminds me that the natural world is such a gift to have right out my backdoor.

What are your hobbies/interests outside of the office? I love to garden, hike, and trail run in the Colorado mountains near my home. I also love to practice hot yoga, travel, and spend time with those I’m closest to.

What’s your favorite part about living and working in Colorado? The passion and drive of the people here truly blow me away! It’s simply such a place of beauty and attracts people who love the outdoors, who are individualists, and most of all enjoy a lifestyle that is hard to compare to other places. Assisting clients that are relocating here is one of my passions in my career. I love it so much and derive a lot of satisfaction out of helping people with all of the things that are involved in moving to a new place.

What community do you live in? What do you like about it? I have lived in Broomfield for 33 years and love the small-town feel even though it has grown tremendously in recent years. It’s a wonderful place to live, raise a family, and to call home.
