Earlier this month, broker professionals and leadership from LIV Sotheby’s International Realty traveled to Vancouver to attend a world-class networking event, hosted by Sotheby’s International Realty. 2019 Global Networking Event (or GNE) is an opportunity for real estate professionals from all over the world to gather together with like-minded individuals to talk about strengthening their business and supporting their clients at the next level. With over 2,000 attendees from all over the globe, 2019 GNE was a successful and dynamic event.

Representatives from LIV Sotheby’s International Realty (LIV SIR), Colorado’s leading luxury real estate firm, led various sessions and panels at 2019 GNE. Lars Carlson, LIV SIR broker based in Telluride, was a leader in a breakout session focused on resort and second home markets. This session spoke to the increasing demand for these markets, with over 79% of the world’s ultra-high-net-worth population owning two or more residences. Carlson, as an expert of this market, shared the unique challenges and opportunities he faces when representing buyers and sellers in Telluride.
Maria Vitale, LIV SIR Denver broker, inspired those who attended the session she led: Elevate Your Mindset to Grow Your Business. Vitale shared critical philosophies and research that are required for real estate professionals to reach desired levels of business, using the sales practices that LIV SIR trains their brokers on.
Delroy Gill and Stuart Crowell, LIV SIR Denver area brokers, engaged the tech-savvy attendees during a session which they helped lead: Social Media: Driving Leads, Driving Business. They used their successful approach to social media as a learning opportunity for other real estate professionals, disclosing how they level-up their social media presence. Experts of social media trends, Gill and Crowell shared how they discovered their online voice and how to maintain relevancy.
As a leading provider of relocation services in Colorado, LIV Sotheby’s International Realty’s vice president of relocation and referral services, Kim Taylor, led a relocation round table at the event. LIV SIR is part of the Cartus Network and works with corporate relocation clients from all over the globe.
The second day of the conference kicked off with none other than Gwyneth Paltrow and the audience was drawn in listening to what it means to her to be a successful mother, an award-winning actress, and most recently – the owner of a natural health company, goop. She provided inspirational thoughts as well as deep insight for what it means to work hard at something and never give up, as well as establish a well-known brand and remain relevant to the consumer.
