At LIV Sotheby’s International Realty, our people make the difference! Learn more about one of our remarkable brokers, Nicole Leininger, in her personal Q&A.

How long have you been in the real estate industry for? I have been in the real estate industry for over 15 years, after following in the footsteps of my dad and grandfather.

What initially drew you to the real estate industry? I have always been attracted to real estate for several reasons. I love helping people, I love touring homes to see the new design trends, and I love the flexibility to be around my family. My goal is to make each transaction as stress-free as possible. People move for all reasons and I want to make it enjoyable. Many of my clients become close friends. Touring homes helps me bring design trends into my own home and gives me ideas to share with clients. I love seeing what is new and innovative each season. Plus, it’s enjoyable to see homes that need some work, yet be able to see their potential. Real estate also gives me the flexibility to be with my kids when needed. I enjoy volunteering at their schools and within our community. I have the flexibility to juggle my career and my life.

What makes LIV Sotheby’s International Realty unique? I have worked at other real estate firms and I feel the people and the culture at LIV Sotheby’s International Realty makes the company so genuine and unique. Everyone is open to help each other and everyone supports you and wants you to succeed. The tools that are provided to us help us achieve our goals and assist us in continuing to grow with the ever-changing market.

What are your hobbies/interests outside of the office? My family. When I am not in the office, I am often cheering my son on at baseball or football and my daughter on the soccer field. In the winter, we love to ski as a family and my kids are now able to pass me on the slopes. We also love to travel as a family – new experiences every year. We have actually started a new family tradition, rather than gifts over the holidays, we plan a trip or an experience for us all to enjoy together. Memories that will last a lifetime. We are very fortunate to have both immediate family and extended family living in Colorado. Summer BBQs and the holidays create a full house.

What’s your favorite part about living and working in Colorado? Being a native, I have a lot of experiences and memories I can share with clients throughout Colorado. While giving clients tours throughout the city and individual neighborhoods, I can point out parks, restaurants, schools, activities for whatever fits their lifestyle. Colorado has so much to offer.
