The event took place at Saint Gabriel’s Episcopal Church, and over 30 bikes were collected and will be sent to rural Africa to address a fundamental barrier to development and health care.

“Many of us have bikes that are unused and just sitting in our garages,” said LIV Sotheby’s International Realty broker, Todd Groth. “This organization sends 400 bikes to Africa in a shipping container, and then makes a bike shop out of the container.  I wanted to organize this event so my friends and neighbors could have a convenient place to drop off their bikes so we could help fill the next shipping container.  Philanthropy is a big part of our organization and I enjoyed helping out!”
