It was the perfect summer evening for a wine tasting – enhanced by the song of meadow birds and sweeping views across the lush Boulder Valley and Colorado’s dramatic Front Range.
This feast for the senses, set on the stone terrace at the stunning 4 Rockin’ G Ranch, was hosted by Linda Behr and Josh Behr of Fuller Sotheby’s International Realty, in conjunction with Bill Fandel of Telluride Sotheby’s International Realty. Eli Rodriguez, with Sotheby’s Wine in New York City, discussed the vintage wines to be showcased and led the tasting.
Featured wines included Meursault Porusots, Lafon 2010; Aubert Reuling Pinot Noir 2010; Gevrey Chambertin, Lavaux St. Jacques, Mortet 2009; Colgin Cariad 2005; Mission Haut Brion 1995; and SQN Thrill of Stamp Collecting 2009. Each wine was paired with complementary foods, catered by Jax Fish House, Denver.
Guests also toured the extraordinary home, which imparts the elegance of a French Country estate on 144 acres, just minutes from Boulder. Interior finishes boast the finest materials, including limestone, granite, walnut flooring and custom glass windows to capture the stunning views of the Flatirons and surrounding valley. Among the property’s other amenities: a large guest home and expansive equestrian complex. For more information click here.
